Thou art good in my sight

1Sam.29.9 And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

As an angel of God

2Sam.14.17 Then thine handmaid said, The word of my lord the king shall now be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad: therefore the LORD thy God will be with thee. 2Sam.14.20 To fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
2Sam.19.27 And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes.

It is enough: stay now thine hand

2Sam.24.16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
2Sam.24.17 And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.

But he lied unto him

1King.13.18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

An angel touched him

1King.19.5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
1King.19.7 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

Be not afraid of him

2King.1.3 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
2King.1.15 And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

Early in the morning, behold

2King.19.35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

The angel of the LORD destroying

1Chr.21.12 Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
1Chr.21.15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

By the threshingfloor of Ornan

1Chr.21.16 And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
1Chr.21.18 Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
1Chr.21.20 And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.
1Chr.21.27 And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.
1Chr.21.30 But David could not go before it to inquire of God: for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.

All the mighty men of valour

2Chr.32.21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

No trust in his servants

Job.4.18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

Thousand, even thousands of angels

Psa.8.5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Psa.34.7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Psa.35.5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
Psa.35.6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
Psa.68.17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Man did eat angels' food

Psa.78.25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.
Psa.78.49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
Psa.91.11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psa.103.20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Psa.104.4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
Psa.148.2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin

Eccl.5.6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

The angel of his presence

Isa.37.36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
Isa.63.9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

Delivered his servants that trusted in him

Dan.3.28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Dan.6.22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Power over the angel

  Hos.12.4 Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;

O my lord, what are these?

Zech.1.9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will show thee what these be.
Zech.1.11 And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
Zech.1.12 Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
Zech.1.13 And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
Zech.1.14 So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
Zech.1.19 And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

Clothed him with garments

Zech.2.3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
Zech.3.1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
Zech.3.3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Zech.5.5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
Zech.5.10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

Lift up now thine eyes, and see

Zech.4.1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
Zech.4.4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Zech.4.5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Zech.5.5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
Zech.5.10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

The four spirits of the heavens

Zech.6.4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
Zech.6.5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
