He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire |
| Luke.3.7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Luke.3.16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: |

| Luke.4.34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. Luke.4.35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. Luke.4.36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. |

He was teaching |
| Luke.5.7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. Luke.5.17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Luke.5.35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. |

Do this, and he doeth it |
| Luke.7.3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. Luke.7.7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. Luke.7.8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. |

Driven of the devil into the wilderness |
| Luke.8.4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: Luke.8.12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke.8.17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Luke.8.19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. Luke.8.29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) |

The Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives |
| Luke.9.23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke.9.26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Luke.9.37 And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him. |

Luke.9.56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. |

Blessed are those servants |
| Luke.12.36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Luke.12.37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. Luke.12.38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. |
Luke.12.39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. They shall come from the east, and from the west |
